Ukegawa-no-Otakisan is a hidden waterfall that cannot be seen until you get close to it. It falls gracefully in two stages over a distance of roughly 20 meters and the pool at its feet is about three meters deep. Beside the waterfall there is a 50-meter-high rock face with an overhang large enough to provide shelter from the rain.
A fudoson, or Buddhist guardian, is enshrined at this waterfall and local residents hold a festival here.
