Yunomine Onsen Public Bathhouse
Yunomine Onsen is not just the oldest hot spring in Japan; it is famous as a place of purification on the Kumano pilgrimage, and is also where Oguri Hangan was revived.
Yunomine Public Bathhouse has regular baths, medicinal baths, rental baths and rest areas. There is also a place where you can fill containers with hot spring water to take home with you. It costs \100 for 10 liters.
Nearby is Yuzutsu, where water bubbles up at a temperature of 90C and eggs and vegetables can easily be boiled.
Eggs and vegetables are on sale at a nearby shop.
