Horyu Falls
This waterfall is in the mountainous area of Takimoto, which is even more isolated than the other communities in Kumanogawa, a remote town surrounded by mysterious mountains. Takimoto, where there are still a few houses, is located close to the source of the Koguchi River in a slightly open basin where there are so many waterfalls that even a waterfall aficionado might feel overwhelmed. There is a tiered crag on the western slope of Mt. Ogumotori, which makes for a wonderful waterfall. Ichi-no-Taki Falls is made up of two sections a lower section that is 51m high and an upper one that is 54m high.
