Beside the Akagi River, a tributary of the Kumano River, stands the lone building of an authentic Japanese-style inn. Two types of baths are available here: a wooden bath made of Japanese cypress and a granite bath. These are used on alternate days for men and women, so if you stay overnight you will be able to enjoy both. There are five wooden bungalow-style rooms made of Kishu Kumano wood. The accommodation facility "Satsuki Bekkan," which is a good base from which to enjoy the forest of the Kumano Kodo World Heritage Site's "Ogumotorigoe" and "Kogumotorigoe", has recently been completed.
