Echizen Pass

Content Number:20725

Echizen Pass
After going down into the valley along the steep stone-covered path from Ishikura Pass, and then climbing towards the upper reaches of the river, you will come to a hill called ""Akatsuchizaka."" Next, you will cross a bridge supported by a stone foundation, and climb up a little to Echizen Pass. From here there was once a panoramic view of mountain ranges of Yoshino-Kumano the Hatenashi Range, Mt.Oto, the Omine Range and so on, but these days visibility is limited due to a planted forest of cedars and cypresses.
