Remains of Kusunokubo travellers' inns
At Kusunokubo there were once more than 10 travellers' inns by the roadside. The innkeepers are said to have attracted guests by pointing to the Sakura Teahouse to the north at Kogumotori, and telling people that there would be no inns until they got there. There were people living in Kusunokubo until about 1960.
