Remains of the Shogoin-no-Miya resting place
The area southwest of Onagami Forest is said to have been the Shogoin-no-Miya resting place. It is the place where Shogoin-no-Miya, who led the Honzanha-Yamabushi (Tendai sect), rested when he walked along the Kumano Sanzan pilgrimage route from Mt. Omine.
