A very large and old temple with 1300 years of history.
The site is nearly 100,000 square meters with the large monolithic temple as the centerpiece, from the gate to the main hall there is nearly 1km and it takes 15 minutes to walk.
The origin of its name (which means "horse savior") comes from the tale that Oguri Hangan visited the temple and prayed when his horse became ill and the horse's ailments were cured.
Many people visit to pray for family safety, avoidance of bad luck, traffic safety, giving birth, success and other good fortune.
